Porto forward Hulk has set his sights on a move to the Premier League, his agent has revealed.
The
Brazil international has been heavily linked with a switch to Chelsea,
with English reports suggesting that a transfer to Stamford Bridge is
"90 percent complete".
Hulk's agent had previously indicated that
the striker wishes to further his career at a bigger club, and he has
now stated that the Premier League is the best place for him to enhance
his reputation and cement his place in the Brazil national team ahead of
the World Cup.
"Hulk has the desire to play in a better and more
competitive league, with the thought of making Brazil's squad at World
Cup 2014," Theodoro Fonseca told Antena 1. "The Premier League fulfills
that requirement."
The 25-year-old has a 100 million euro release clause attached to his Porto contract, which expires in 2016. | |
